Hoops with Hubei Turquoise and Copper, Earrings

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a new pair of handmade earrings to share with you.

These earrings are made using copper and Hubei turquoise beads. The circle with the loop on top measures 1" long. This does not count the ear wire.  The earrings are a nice size for those who want to have a dangle but don't want a super long or large pair. Large enough to show off but small enough to not overtake your look.

These earrings feature handmade copper ear wires, hammered copper hoops, copper clover shaped elements and a handmade copper headpin with Hubei turquoise and copper beads that dangle in the front of the clover elements.  By clicking here  you can be taken directly to my web store.

Thank you for taking your time to stop in and see today's creation,

Flowers and Pearls, Earrings

Today I have a new pair of earrings to share with you. They were very fun to make. I spent my Saturday out in the garage torching wire to make my own headpins.  Everything on these earrings was handmade except for the pearls, I'm incapable of every accomplishing that!  LOL. They are now available for purchase in my web store.

Sterling Silver and Black Obsidian Earrings

I wanted to share with you a pair of earrings I made using sterling silver and black Obsidian tube beads.

These were very fun to make, including the ear wires. This is the first year I've made ear wires. In the past I would just purchase them but I'm trying to make everything that I can by hand.

You can check these out in my web store by clicking here.

Copper Bracelets

I actually have two to show you. The knotted one that I had been talking about and a daintier one. The daintier one came from using the messed up pieces from making the first one. I'd get the coil backwards or the ends would poke out after hammering. I'd end up with scrap. But being such a scrap user with stamping, I learned to use the scrap copper to make something too.  So, here's the two bracelets. I still need to file any rough spots and then put them in the tumbler for a half hour to smooth out any imperfections and to shine them up!  Then they'll go in my web store.

I found the patterns to make both of these on YouTube.

Thank you for stopping by,

Hammered Ring Silver-filled 21" Necklace

I made this necklace was made using 18 gauge Silver-filled wire. Silver filled is in the middle of the silvers. There’s silver plating that usually chips off and exposes the base metal under it. Silver-filled is a more reasonable priced silver option. There is the base metal but it’s got many layers of silver over it. And then you have solid sterling silver. Silver-filled is not as soft as solid sterling silver and can withstand a bit more handling.

The larger textured rings are just a bit smaller than a dime. They measure 15.4mm.

This silver-filled necklace measures 21″ long and has a sterling silver lobster clasp. Each ring was soldered, hammered, textured and joined together by soldering a handmade jump ring to each large ring. It was buffed and then tumbled to a bright shine.

It will be shipped in a safe container within a bubble envelope and it will also be in an anti tarnish bag.

Shipping is based on zip code and there is not handling or added shipping fees.

You can purchase this necklace in my secure web store at www.JustOneMoreBead.com

Falling Snow Snowman Beaded Christmas Bulb Cover PDF

Here's my latest creation. I designed a new Christmas bulb cover. I call it "Falling Snow Snowman" bulb cover. I like bulb covers because they can be replaced if you should happen to bread the bulb.

I have a pattern for the bulb.  You can purchase it here.

Or you can buy the kit if you don't want to invest in the beads needed.  You can get the kit here.

But wait, there's more. You can even get a kit with the snowman already assembled. Some of you don't have the tools to make the snowmen and some just don't want to make them!  You can get that kit here.

This bulb is easy to make, it's a beginners (with some experience) level. The pattern includes easy to follow step by step instructions for making the bulb cover.

Thank you SO much for taking your time to have a look at my new bulb cover,
Wanda

Natural Turquoise Inlaid Ring

Today I finished a ring I started before Christmas. I had to keep putting it away due to usage of my workroom and worktables.  All week, except Tuesday I have been working on it and this is the finished results.  I'm okay with it.  It could use some more work but I can't do any more to it because I'm afraid if I sand anymore on it I will be down to the brass in the silver-filled piece.  I had originally started out making a copper one. It is ready for the stone but I decided to jump into some silver.  After completing this one to  where it is, I am going to venture into making one of sterling silver, not silver-filled.  It will cost a lot more but it will be worth it.  And now that I know what I'm doing, it shouldn't take as long to make either. Unless I have to put stuff away every time I get going on it! I need a whole room just for this type of work!

When I started making the ring it was a size 8 and when I finished, it was still a size 8!  I did something right there!!!

This was fun to make and I would like to make some inlaid pendants some time too.  And of course I will share them with you once I've made them.

I will post the copper one once it's done too.
