Hammered Ring Silver-filled 21" Necklace

I made this necklace was made using 18 gauge Silver-filled wire. Silver filled is in the middle of the silvers. There’s silver plating that usually chips off and exposes the base metal under it. Silver-filled is a more reasonable priced silver option. There is the base metal but it’s got many layers of silver over it. And then you have solid sterling silver. Silver-filled is not as soft as solid sterling silver and can withstand a bit more handling.

The larger textured rings are just a bit smaller than a dime. They measure 15.4mm.

This silver-filled necklace measures 21″ long and has a sterling silver lobster clasp. Each ring was soldered, hammered, textured and joined together by soldering a handmade jump ring to each large ring. It was buffed and then tumbled to a bright shine.

It will be shipped in a safe container within a bubble envelope and it will also be in an anti tarnish bag.

Shipping is based on zip code and there is not handling or added shipping fees.

You can purchase this necklace in my secure web store at www.JustOneMoreBead.com

Falling Snow Snowman Beaded Christmas Bulb Cover PDF

Here's my latest creation. I designed a new Christmas bulb cover. I call it "Falling Snow Snowman" bulb cover. I like bulb covers because they can be replaced if you should happen to bread the bulb.

I have a pattern for the bulb.  You can purchase it here.

Or you can buy the kit if you don't want to invest in the beads needed.  You can get the kit here.

But wait, there's more. You can even get a kit with the snowman already assembled. Some of you don't have the tools to make the snowmen and some just don't want to make them!  You can get that kit here.

This bulb is easy to make, it's a beginners (with some experience) level. The pattern includes easy to follow step by step instructions for making the bulb cover.

Thank you SO much for taking your time to have a look at my new bulb cover,

Natural Turquoise Inlaid Ring

Today I finished a ring I started before Christmas. I had to keep putting it away due to usage of my workroom and worktables.  All week, except Tuesday I have been working on it and this is the finished results.  I'm okay with it.  It could use some more work but I can't do any more to it because I'm afraid if I sand anymore on it I will be down to the brass in the silver-filled piece.  I had originally started out making a copper one. It is ready for the stone but I decided to jump into some silver.  After completing this one to  where it is, I am going to venture into making one of sterling silver, not silver-filled.  It will cost a lot more but it will be worth it.  And now that I know what I'm doing, it shouldn't take as long to make either. Unless I have to put stuff away every time I get going on it! I need a whole room just for this type of work!

When I started making the ring it was a size 8 and when I finished, it was still a size 8!  I did something right there!!!

This was fun to make and I would like to make some inlaid pendants some time too.  And of course I will share them with you once I've made them.

I will post the copper one once it's done too.

Keyboard Beaded Bracelet

Today I'm going to share with you a bracelet I made last month and just added the clasp today.  I am notorious for making bracelets and not adding the clasps. I'm going to be going through my beading stuff this year and pulling out all of those almost finished projects!!!  I will probably post them in my web store (cheap) to get rid of them. I have too much stuff here!!!

I found the detailed instructions on YouTube.  You can see it by clicking here.  It's very easy to follow along.  It is not in English.  My husband asked me if I could understand what the lady was saying and I told him "of course I can, she's speaking "bead"!"  LOL

Beading is one of a handful of my passions.  I stamp, bead, knit in my knitting machine, crochet, I work with polymer clay (Sculpey, Fimo, etc), wire, PMC (precious metal clay), and some painting.  That doesn't leave much time for housework!!  LOL

So here it is.  It's finished and it's actually sold!

Thank you for indulging me!

Petite Roses Silver Bracelet

I made this fun bracelet using Silver-filled wire for all the soldered links and Sterling Silver wire for the tiny roses.

It measures 8-1/8" from end to end.  It fits a 7-1/4" wrist.

It can be purchased in my web store.  Check here for more details.

All the links have been soldered, including the jump rings. It's going to be pretty hard to break these links.

The links are Silver-filled and not silver plated.  Silver plating is very thin and chips or wears off in a short time.

THIS ITEM IS SOLD

The Countess Beaded Christmas Bulb

Today I finished a new design. I call it "The Countess" beaded Christmas bulb.  You don't have to run around looking for different shaped beads.  These are pretty easy to find.  This bulb uses seed beads, fire-polished beads and glass pearls.

I'm SO horrible at taking photos. I was trying to make sure the wind wouldn't blow the dangling pieces together that I didn't notice the bulb cap was crooked.  Though I had nothing to do with that in the creation of the bulb cover.

I like bulb covers better than the encased bulbs because of the ease of replacement.  Should this bulb break (and they can because they are super thin glass), I just go get another bulb.  With the encased ones you have to remove beads and hope you find them all and then resew the beads back onto the bulb.  Oh and another great benefit here is, you can send the mail without the worry of the bulb breaking (bulb not included!!!).  They would be easier to sell that way too.

The PDF pattern for this bulb cover can be purchased in my secure web store.  Just click here to be taken to the store.  You can make as many as you wish to sell or to give away as gifts.  Entering it in a contest is not permitted.

Beaded Bobble Bracelet

I had found this fun bracelet on You Tube. It was easy to follow, though I did modify it a bit so it was more solid and not so wobbly.

I just needed a break from everything else I'm working on. I've got card making going on. Crocheting.  I've got an afghan panel hanging from my knitting machine. I have little mittens to finish. Silver clay ready to torch. And a ton of beads waiting to be created into something fun! I missed beading.

I will be making some of these bracelets to sell in my web store. I will post a picture of the bracelets that are for sale and a link to the store.

These are fun to make and when I run across the You Tube video I will post the link.
